The Stamford Advocate visited the Corbin Advisors headquarters in Farmington, CT, recently to discuss our evolving hybrid working model. An early adopter, Corbin Advisors first launched WFH Fridays years before the pandemic and was already fluent in Zoom, which allowed for a seamless transition to working remotely.
The team now enjoys weekly “Corbin Connection” days, gathering in person for lunch, strategy sessions and team meetings. “We’ve shifted to a new societal way of working globally that has to have a greater level of flexibility and trust,” said Founder & CEO Rebecca Corbin.
The firm opened new offices in Farmington in October 2020, covering about 7,800 square feet — more than four times the size of its previous offices in the same town. The firm employs approximately 50.
With a focus on the future, Corbin continues to invest in both technology and its state-of-the-art headquarters with the team recently voting on a new lounge layout that promotes collaboration as well as socialization.
