Michael Becker

Michael is the Vice President, Head of Sales & Marketing, where he oversees the firm’s sales and marketing efforts. He is focused on brand positioning and amplification, strategic marketing, and business development to drive profitable growth, expand market share, and elevate client engagement. Michael brings more than 25 years of global experience in strategy, commercial operations, partnerships, and investor relations to his leadership of Corbin’s commercial engine.

Michael joined Corbin Advisors in February 2025 as Vice President, Growth, where he has been instrumental in accelerating the firm’s growth engine and deepening client relationships across its investor relations and investor communications advisory platform.

Prior to joining Corbin, Michael spent nearly 24 years at Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company, where he served in a series of senior leadership roles, most recently as Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives. During his tenure at Business Wire, he led international sales, strategic and channel partnerships, and commercial operations across key global markets, and played a central role in building and scaling the company’s regulatory disclosure and compliance solutions.

In addition to his operating experience, Michael worked in investor relations advisory at Capital Link and advised Stockperks, supporting growth, partnerships, and customer success strategies. He has contributed to the broader capital markets and corporate reporting ecosystem through his service on the boards of XBRL US and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), and as a frequent industry panelist, moderator, and content contributor. He has also shared his expertise as an adjunct lecturer in management and business strategy at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, where he is currently a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee.

He holds an Executive MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. He lives in Great Neck, New York with his wife and their two children.
