Through Love, Corbin, our community impact effort, our Team supported the Connecticut Humane Society and My Sisters’ Place. Giving back is an important part of our culture, and we are proud of the enthusiasm and care our colleagues bring to serving others.

CT Humane Society

  • Cardboard Cat Scratcher Creation: Volunteers worked together in small teams to create cardboard cat scratchers for cats and kittens in the Humane Society’s care. Made from repurposed cardboard, these scratchers provide enrichment and comfort for animals while they receive medical care or wait to be adopted.
  • Dog Trail Cleanup & Woodchip Project: Volunteers helped maintain the Humane Society’s dog walking trails by clearing branches, breaking down fallen limbs into woodchips, and spreading the woodchips along the paths. This work helps create safe, enjoyable walking trails for the dogs in their care.

My Sister’s Place

  • Organizing Donations: Volunteers helped sort and organized recently donated items to support the day-to-day operations of My Sister’s Place. Projects included organizing clothing by size and gender, folding and shelving linens, restocking supplies, and organizing household items so they were ready for residents when needed.
  • My Sister’s Place: Volunteers helped set up and run a community clothing giveaway by organizing clothing racks, arranging donated items, and assisting community members as they shopped. Their support helped create a welcoming experience while ensuring people could easily find clothing that met their needs.
