What is your role and responsibilities?
I work on the Insights Team at Corbin, where I execute Voice of Investor® Perception Studies. In my role, I am focused on maximizing value for our clients through developing research-based recommendations founded on feedback from the investment community. As well, I lead our client-focused competitive intelligence effort, ensuring our clients receive insights from their competitors’ earnings calls in a timely manner. Ultimately, my role is focused on leveraging research to deliver value to our clients.
What do you love most about the work you do at Corbin Advisors?
It’s all about the people. Cross-team collaboration is the norm here, so I have been given the opportunity to establish and strengthen relationships with coworkers of all levels and professional backgrounds across the organization. I have been able to learn so much from the talent at Corbin.
In 2024, you were recognized with the Ultimate Team Player Award for consistently delivering above expectations. What inspires you?
As mentioned, the people make the difference at Corbin. I have never had a team that inspires me to the extent that my team here does. I always look forward to collaborating with them and have immense trust that they will always support me when needed.
What‘s the best advice you would give to someone who is just starting their career or looking at Corbin Advisors for their first career opportunity?
The most important advice I can give is to build your network. Corbin provides immense opportunity to expand your connections, both internal and external, with a wide variety of specialties. Related to that, it is not common to have frequent exposure to IR leaders and company executives this early in your career, so it is incredibly important to take advantage of those encounters as opportunities to stand out and differentiate yourself. Internally, never be afraid to ask questions. Corbin colleagues are great resources for aiding your career, so utilize them as much as possible.
