The Client Excellence Award 2025

Amy has been a team member at Corbin Advisors since 2021

What is your role and responsibilities?

As a Senior Vice President on Corbin’s IR Advisory team, I partner closely with publicly traded and pre-IPO companies and their leadership teams to sharpen how they communicate their strategy and value proposition to the investment community. My work focuses on developing differentiated investment theses and translating complex information into compelling narratives that resonate with investors.

As part of Corbin’s Special Situations practice, I also advise clients on strategic communications during critical inflection points—including M&A, IPOs, strategic shifts, and leadership transitions—to ensure messaging remains clear, credible, and aligned with investor expectations.

As a senior leader, I help advance Corbin’s advisory offerings while ensuring operational excellence across engagements and mentoring team members to develop the next generation of advisors.

What do you love most about the work you do at Corbin Advisors?

Every engagement brings exposure to a different company, industry, and strategic challenge, which keeps the work dynamic and constantly engaging. My role requires me to blend analytical thinking with thoughtful storytelling, which I find interesting and rewarding. I also deeply value the collaborative environment and the opportunity to work closely with both colleagues and clients.

In 2025, you were recognized with the Client Excellence Award for consistently delivering above expectations. What inspires you?

I’m inspired by the impact we create for clients. Our work directly influences how companies are understood, valued, and trusted by the investment community. Knowing that the insights we deliver often shape executive messaging, inform strategic priorities, and guide board-level discussions creates a strong sense of responsibility and a drive to consistently raise the bar for clients. I’m also inspired by working alongside a diverse group of talented colleagues and the culture of excellence at Corbin.

What‘s the best advice you would give to someone who is just starting their career or looking at Corbin Advisors for their first career opportunity?

I would tell them to lean into curiosity and embrace the steep learning curve. At a firm like Corbin, you’ll be exposed to senior executives, investors, and complex strategic discussions quickly. Take advantage of that access. Ask thoughtful questions, listen to how executives and investors frame the issues, and learn from senior team members. Attention to detail and learning from both successes and failures matter. The best client outcomes come from people who are open to feedback, eager to contribute, and committed to client excellence.
