Corbin Founder & CEO, Rebecca Corbin, spoke at a panel on “How Investors are Looking for the ‘S’ in ‘ESG'” at the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI)’s annual conference this week.
Rebecca discussed how 2020 was a turning point for the social element in ESG, with companies across the globe focusing on safety, employee health and systemic racism. ESG is getting embedded into business decisions, Rebecca said, adding, “The good news is that organizations are embracing this.”
According to Corbin’s proprietary research, 48% of investors, up from just over a quarter in 2018, now say the “S” is “very important to critical” to investment decisions.
